Alejandrina Ramirez Southmayd passed away on Saturday morning, October 27 ^th , 2018 at the age of 88.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alden E. Southmayd Jr. and step-son Walter E. Southmayd (surviving wife Marilyn Southmayd of Alice, TX.)

Alejandrina 'Drina' will forever be remembered by her daughter Maria M. Southmayd, grandsons Alden E. Southmayd Sailler and Marcus B. Southmayd Sailler of San Antonio, TX, stepchildren Barbara Southmayd Fiedler spouse Welton (Rusty) Fiedler of Temple, TX, Alden E. Southmayd spouse Kandi Southmayd of Beeville, TX, Martha Southmayd Wallace of Freer, TX, and Sara Southmayd Ruiz spouse Patricio (Pat) Ruiz, IV of Mason, TX.  Alejandrina will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends.

She was a devoted Catholic with an endless love for animals, gardening, 'novelas', colorful clothing and her morning 'cafecito'.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00p.m. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
