Alfredo "Diablo" Cruz passed away on March 2, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born on July 23, 1947 to Natividad and Vicenta Cruz.

Mr. Cruz is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Martina Flores, Maria Garcia, Marcos Cruz, Alicia Jimenez, Jesus Cruz and his great grandchild, Brennen Ray Ramirez.

Mr. Cruz is survived by his wife, Rosa E. Cruz; children, Esteban Cruz, Maribel C. Castor (Bernardo R.), Ernesto Cruz (Cindy R.) and Marie C. Valdez; brother, Natividad Cruz Jr.; grandchildren, Esteban Cruz Jr. (Alicia Zamudio), Elizar Cruz (Ausenett Niaves), Cristian Cruz, Sarah D. Castor (Albert Ramirez), Benny Rey Castor (Analicia Gomez), Selena Perez (Jacob), Ernesto Cruz Jr., Xciana Perez (Johnny), Edward Cruz, Celisa Cruz and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
