Alicia S. Martinez passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 72. She was born on December 8, 1949, to Refugio and Mercedes Salazar.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Noe Martinez; parents and her siblings, Enrique Salazar, Luis Salazar, Cipriano Salazar, Juanita Guerrero, Felicita Salazar, Teresa Salazar, and Raul Salazar.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children, Noellee (Robert) Malacara, George (Elizabeth) Martinez, Marcena Martinez (Domingo Lumbreras) and Nicolette (Ricardo) Ruiz; grandchildren, Maralicia Martinez, Carolina M. Ruiz, Anahi Martinez, Isabela Malacara, Ricardo Noe Ruiz, Cataleya M. Ruiz and her sister, Maria Eugenia Salazar. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.
