Angela S. Rodriguez

Angela S. Rodriguez of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014 in Dewey, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Angela was born to Juan and Justa Segovia in Cotulla, Texas on November 15, 1922. After she completed her schooling in Cotulla, Angela married Manuel C. Rodriguez on February 11, 1945. They were blessed with three sons/ Raul, Juan, and Leonel, and one daughter, Mirta.

Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel C. Rodriguez; her parents, Jesus and Justa Segovia; five brothers, Juan Max, Jesse, Mike, and Raul Segovia; and her sister, Emma Garza.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her children; Raul (Debbie) Rodriguez of Dewey, Juan (Katie) Rodriguez of Barlesville, Leonel (Paula) Rodriguez of Wimberley, TX, and daughter Mirta Bradshaw (Jim Hallett) of Nowata, OK; and sister, Polly Villarreal of Illinois.

She leaves behind her legacy of adored grandchildren, including: six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her very special nieces, nephews, and other very close relatives and dear friends.

Visitations for Mrs. Rodriguez will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home from 9:00-10:45 am.

Funeral Services will also be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla at 11:00am. Inurnrment will follow at the Scared Heart Catholic Cemetery.
