Mr. Bobby Joe Childers, age 80, passed away at his home August 30, 2020.

Mr. Childers was born on March 28, 1940.

Mr. Childers was a member of the Church of God for 60 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Paris Childers, Verna Mae Whitten Childers Crisp; sister, Linda Mae Huffman and his brothers, George Thomas Crisp and Robert R. Crisp.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ramona Kay Childers; sons, Thomas Childers Sr. (Jaxel Childers) and Carl Childers; brothers and sisters, John Crisp (June), Dorris Westfall (David), Jim Crisp, Carol Quarles (Donnie) and Brenda Gonzales (Joe); grandchildren, Thomas Childers Jr. (Amy), Darrel Childers, James Childers (Kimberly), Brock Childers and his great grandchildren, Luarel-ly, Luke, Miranda, Cody and Kayce Jo.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Peters Funeral Home from 6:30p.m. to 8:00p.m.
