June 26, 1988 - March 11, 2013

Chadwick Ray Bookout was born on June 26, 1988 to James and Felecia Jo Bookout. He entered into eternal peace on March 11, 2013 at the age of 24.

"Chad", as all knew him, had grown into a wonderful young man. As a young boy he loved all animals and loved to cook all by himself. He was a very tender hearted soul who had a lot of empathy and feelings for all of God's creations.

He became an exemplified officer in our U.S. Naval Forces. He served in Iraq and returned to the states to continue to help those sick and injured stateside. Chad will truly be missed by each and every one of his loved ones in their own ways.

Chad is survived by his mother, Felecia Jo Bookout; brother, Michael Andrew Bookout; great-grandmother TD Lancaster; grandmother, Alpha June Snowden; grandparents, Mickey & Anne Snowden; uncle Anthony Russell Snowden; and nephew, Michael Andrew Bookout Jr.,  all of Cotulla. He is also survived by his father James and step-mother Tina Bookout of Waller, TX, along with numerous cousins and friends from all areas.

Visitations will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 4:00 - 9:00pm.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Cotulla East Cemetery at 10:00am. Interment will follow.
