Charles (Butch) Roy Arnold Jr. of Cotulla passed away on February 12, 2015, at the age of 74. He was born on November 8, 1940 in Dumas, TX to Charles and Susan Arnold.
Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Virginia Sue Wilson and James H. Arnold.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his loving wife Peggy Arnold; children, Charles Griffin and wife Denise, Tracy Gamez, Tori Lanier and husband Kendall and Tara Davis; grandchildren, Erin Griffin, Hilton Schweitzer, Adrianna Gamez, Devin Lanier, Deja Lanier, Evan Alban and sisters, Cordelia J. Chessman and Joann Garrett.
Mr. Arnold was a jack of many trades which included being a roper, heeler and saddle bronc rider. He was the Manager of the Rocking S Ranch since 1969. He was associated with the youth rodeos and worked with many youth throughout his years teaching roping, welding, fencing and much more. He once served as the director of the LaSalle County Farm Bureau, he was on the board of the Foreign Marketing Committee, a member of the Santa Gertrudis Breeders International and was an official Santa Gertrudis judge. He had accomplished so much more that has yet to be mentioned.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Rocking S. Ranch at 2:00 pm.
