Charles William Hinkel III of Cotulla passed away at his home on October 27, 2014 at the age of 76.

Mr. Hinkel is preceded in death by his wife Elaine Knox Hinkel and his parents, Charles W. Hinkel Jr. and Ruby Hinkel.

Mr. Hinkel is survived by his children, Charles W. "Cuatro" Hinkel IV and his wife Lourdes, Corene Hanselmen and Crystal Alvarez and her husband Ruben; grandchildren, Charles W. "Cinco" (Betty) Hinkel V, Patrick Pete Hinkel, Kristopher Cole Hinkel, Katarina V. Gutierrez, Jennifer Laura (Zachary) Kilgore, Constance Lee Alvarez and Alexandra Lenora Alvarez; great grandchild, Dariella Andrea Garcilazo and sister, Elizabeth Louise (John) Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church, 302 Center St., Cotulla, TX. 78014. An afternoon vigil will be held at the Howard Williams Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm which is located at 401 Texas, Hebbronville, TX. 78361. A private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
