Cristina G. Lopez, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born November 13, 1949, in D'Hanis, Texas to Gregoria and Manuel Gonzales.

She married Agapito Lopez Sr. in September 1974. She worked as a home health provider for many years offering companionship, empathy, and support to all of her clients. Cristina truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family, friends, taking family trips, cooking, gardening, and her true passion, spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Ms. Lopez is preceded in death by her husband and her siblings, Jorge Gonzales, Juan Manuel Gonzales, Rita Gonzales and Sylvia Gonzales.

Ms. Lopez is survived by her children, Michael (Mickey) Lopez, Agapito (Crystal) Lopez, Liza (Gabriel) Martinez, Richard Lopez and Angelica (Tito) Lopez; grandchildren, Justin Lopez, Joshua Lopez, Adiran Elizondo, Tayla Elizondo, Damian Loez, Gabriel Martinez, Andrew Martinez, Gabriella Martinez, Israel Martinez, Armani Lopez, Ariana Lopez, Derrick Vasquez, Ruby Vasquez and great grandchildren, Liam Lopez and Chase Lopez.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 8:00a.m.  to 10:30a.m. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Catholic East Cemetery.
