Diamantina G. Gonzalez, 79, of Cotulla died on Monday. November 4, 2013. Diamantina was born on April 18, 1934 to Juan and Feliz Garcia. She was a resident of Cotulla since 1952. The past 10 years were spent residing in Austin, Texas.

She found great joy in spending time with her family, and collecting photos of her four children and their spouses, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved cooking, spending time with her sisters, Dora, Abigail, and Azucena whose family and friends made it possible for them to make many trips to Austin to visit her. They provided a lot of happy memories and laughter as they all share Diamantina's, great sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio V. Gonzalez; her sons,  Alvaro "Albert" G. Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez and her daughter Tina G. Osio.

She is survived by her son, Antonio G. Gonzales, Jr. and wife Wendy of Spring; her daughter, Mary Maske and husband Mark of Austin;  daughter-in-law, Esmeralda Gonzalez of Cotulla; son-in-law, Catarino Osio of Cotulla, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren as well as Diamantina's brothers and sisters and their spouses and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home, 500 N Main St, Cotulla, TX 78014 (830 879-2615) from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, November 8, 2013 with a prayer service at 7:00pm.  Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30am, 307 S Main St, Cotulla, TX 78014 (830 879-2658)
