Mr. Edward Arnold Plocek of Magnolia and Cotulla, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 3 ^rd 2018 at the age of 78.

Ed was born to parents Malvin and Jesse Plocek on October 29 ^th , 1939 in Cotulla, Texas. He grew up as the eldest of three brothers and attended Cotulla High School. He served in the Air Force from June 15 ^th , 1958 to June 5 ^th 1964.

Ed was married to Carolyn Bishop and from this union, Robert Dalton and Aaron Jay were born.

Ed was remarried to Loretta Owens and from this union, Linda Renee was born.

Ed's final marriage was to Jeannie Bacarisse.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Linda Renee; his sons, Robert Dalton and Aaron Jay; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank Earl and Phyllis Jeannie; eight grandchildren and many nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Melvin Douglas.

The funeral service will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 9 ^th , 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home, 811 Magnolia Blvd, Magnolia, TX 77355. The burial of his remains will occur on Saturday, February 10 ^th , 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Cotulla Cemetery, corner of FM468 and Medina St., Cotulla, Texas 78014.
