Our beloved sister, Elda Nora Santos Quintanilla was born on December 27, 1953, and entered eternal rest in the comfort of her home on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 68. Elda Nora is preceded in death by her husband, Erasmo Quintanilla Jr. and her parents, Lauro and Esperanza Santos.

Elda Nora is survived by her brother, Lauro (Elia) Santos, Jr. and her two sister, Norma Barbour, and Idalia Santos Smasal along with three nieces and one nephew; numerous grand nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Elda Nora, known to most whom loved her as "Ms. Q" was a very dedicated worker with a loving disposition and demeanor. She never forgot anyone's birthday and always made a point of making the celebrants day. Ms. Q worked as the Administrative Assistant in the medica branch for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Cotulla Unit for approximately 9 years.

Many thanks go out to the Heart to Heart Hospice care nurses and caregivers which assisted in her well being the last few weeks of her home life.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Church at 307 S. Main St. in Cotulla, Texas. Interment to be followed at the Sacred Heart Cemetery on I-35 Frontage Rd. Cotulla, Texas.
