Elia C. Rios passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 71. She was born on July 25, 1950 to Josefa and Braulio Carbajal Sr.

Mrs. Rios is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Estella Cruz, Refugio Carbajal, Ramon Carbajal Sr. and Amador Carbajal Sr.

Mrs. Rios is survived by her husband, Aurelio Rios Sr.; children, San Juanita Rios-Sobrevilla and Aurelio "Wayo" Rios Jr.; siblings, Braulio Carbajal Jr., Cruz Carbajal, Juan Carbajal, Eulalia Martinez, Maria Moreno, Paula Garza and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Peters Funeral Home from 8:00a.m. to 11:30a.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 12:00p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
