Elida Ibarra Garcia of Cotulla, TX passed away peacefully on May 27, 2012 in New Braunfels,TX.

Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her husband, Lauro Garcia, her brothers Antonio, Jose and Servando, and her sisters Crisanta, Zaragoza, Anita, and Agripina Ibarra.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her children: Hector Garcia, Jose Derli Garcia (Lorenza Flores), Elodia (Alfredo †) Rosales, Rosemary (Francisco ) Rodriguez, Lauro Luis (Celia Martinez) Garcia, Maria Antonia (Santiago) Gonzalez, Rogelio (Irma) Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Raul Garcia, Norma Dalia (Rolando Jaimes) Garcia, and Sara Veronica (Ramiro Jr) Garza. Mrs. Garcia is also survived by her sister, Genoveva Garcia, 40 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitations for Mrs. Garcia will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00-9:00p.m. with a rosary at 7:00p.m.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Garcia will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla, TX at 9:30a.m. Pall bearers will be: Hector Garcia Jr, Jose Garcia, Jimmy Lee Gonzalez, Javier Garcia, Froylan Garcia, Raul Esteban Garcia, Zeke Ian Garcia and Ramiro Garza III.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Cotulla East Cemetery.
