Emilia Aguilar passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born on March 28, 1931 to Alberto Sr. and Julia Aguero.

Ms. Aguilar is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesus Aguilar; children, Jose and Belinda Aguilar;  brother, Alberto Aguero Jr; sister, Maria Felicita Garza and Guadalupe Perez.

Ms. Aguilar is survived by her daughter, Consuelo (Juan) Farias; daughter, Teresa (Gelasio) Olvera; son, Arturo (Elva) Aguilar; daughter, Alicia Maldonado (Calvin); daughter, Maricela Aguilar (Juan Nunez); daughter, Maria Aguilar (Juan Cruz); son, Mario (Cynthia) Aguilar; daughter, Leticia Aguilar. She is also survived by several sisters and brothers,  numerous grandchildren,  nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 11a.m. Funeral Services will be held same day at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Santos Cruz Jr., Juan X. Cruz, Arturo Aguilar Jr., Jesus Nunez, Jose Santos and Malachi Romez.
