Ernesto Galvan Jr. passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born on December 31, 1946, to Ernesto and Dora Galvan.

Mr. Galvan is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jose Luis Galvan, Dimas Galvan, and Abel Galvan Sr.

Mr. Galvan is survived by his wife, Willie K. Galvan; son, Ernesto Galvan III; grandchildren, Kimberly (James) Childers, Kaitlyn Galvan (Lance), Ernesto Galvan IV and Kayla Galvan; sisters, Ester Garcia (Arturo), Melida Galvan, and Sylvia Rangel: brothers, Reyes Galvan Sr. (Cris) and Joel Galvan Sr.

Pallbearers will be James Childers, Lance Simmons, Reyes Galvan Jr., Joel Galvan Jr., Ernesto Galvan IV, and Jack Alba. Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Herod, Scott Reese, Dennis Ramirez, Martin Kruger, Lyndell Shelburn, Ronnie Duque, and Nelson Lancaster.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Peters Funeral Home from 8:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 11:00a.m. at Peters Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery.
