Ernesto Gonzalez Sr. passed away on November 20, 2015, at the age of 78. He was born on July 30, 1937 to Cayetano and Dominga Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Grace Gonzalez; brothers, Erasmo P. Gonzalez, Arturo P. Gonzalez and nephew, Conan Harrison.
Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his loving wife, Alma Gonzalez; children, Gloria (Jay) Hernandez of Phoenix, AZ., Elva (Tomas) Almanza of Streamwood, IL., Estela (John) Kessro of Schaumburg, IL., Ernesto Gonzalez Jr. of McHenry, IL., Alma (Rick) Alvarez of San Antonio, TX., and Vicente Claudio of Chicago, IL.; siblings, Vico (Olga) Gonzalez of Lytle, TX., Esteban (Irene†) Gonzalez, Estela (Vicente) Sifuentes of Carpentersville, IL., Julian (Alicia) Gonzalez of Cotulla, TX., Leonardo (Pete) Jasso of Cotulla, TX., and Amada (Ben) Harrison of Perdido, AL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
