Eulalia Negrete of Encinal passed away on October 25, 2013 at the age of 95. She was born in Coahuila, MX on February 12, 1918 to Geronimo Mendoza.

Ms. Negrete is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Genovevo Negrete; children, Ma. del Refugio Negrete, Teresa Negrete and Jesus Negrete and grandson Gerardo Negrete.

Ms. Negrete is survived by her children, Maria Vasquez of Laredo, TX., Minerva (Salome) Negrete of Mexico, Ricarda Hernandez (Jose Gonzalez) of Eagle Pass, TX., Federico Negrete of Mexico, Jovita (Jose) Torres of Arizona, Dora (Blas) Alvidres of Dallas, TX., Jorge Negrete of California, Juan A. Negrete of Mexico, Blanca S. Negrete of Encinal, TX., and San Juana Rodriguez of Encinal, TX.; grandson, Ruben Rodriguez Jr. who was raised as her son; great grandson, Justin A. Salazar who was also raised as her son and 28 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 9:30am. Interment will follow at the Encinal Cemetery.
