Evelina Soto of Encinal passed away on April 10, 2015, at the age of 83. She was born on February 16, 1932 to Apolonio and Isabel Lara.
Ms. Soto is preceded in death by her husband, Luis G. Soto; son, Jose Alonzo Soto and her parents.
Ms. Soto is survived by her children, Maria L. Castillo of Encinal, Sara Alicia Hernandez and her husband Ramiro of San Antonio, Luis Alejo Soto III of San Antonio, Patricio Soto of San Antonio, Jesus Soto of San Antonio, Maricela Coronado and her husband Donald of Laredo, David Soto of San Antonio and Francisco Soto and his wife Lisa of Dallas; sisters, Julieta Soto of Orange Grove and Velma Gonzalez of San Antonio. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Encinal Cemetery.
