August 23, 1923 - December 9, 2012

Felipa Pina of Cotulla passed away December 9, 2012 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Felix and Cruz Pina.

Felipa was a wonderful person. Her caregiver, Hortencia Flores, and Las Palmas staff is greatly appreciated for all of the effort they gave to give her peace. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.

Ms. Pina is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Cruz Pina; sisters, Dolores Pina and Maria Ysidra Castro; and brothers, Jose Pina, Pilar Pina, and Eliseo Pina.

Ms. Pina is survived by her brothers, Felix Pina and Basilio Pina; sisters, Eulalia Salinas, Dolores Nava, Ramona Martinez, Maria Mata, Francisca (Humberto) Gonzalez, Cruz Sosa, and San Juana Luna; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitations will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla, TX at 9:30am.

Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
