Frances Kaye Arnold, 81, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at her home in Cotulla, Texas. She was born on March 7, 1945, in Pearsall, Texas to Mildred Tyler and Clay Arnold.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Kaye is survived by her aunt, Nora Mae Tyler and her cousins, John N, Tyler, Harvey L. Franklin, Jr. and other relatives.

Kaye was raised on Stringtown Road, La Salle County. She was a graduate of Cotulla High School and Trinity University. She taught math at Winston Churchill High School for 30 years, before retiring and returning home to Cotulla.

She was a supporter of the Brush Country Museum, being responsible for many of the museum improvements, including the Veterans wing, which she donated in memory of her grandparents, John and Sybel Tyler.

Kaye was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed a game, making several trips to see them play in person.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, at 9:00a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla West Cemetery.
