George Thomas Crisp was born on September 27, 1941 to George Ervin Crisp and Joy McGowan Crisp of Artesia Wells, Texas. He passed away on December 10, 2019.

After graduating from Cotulla High School, George attended the University of Texas before serving in the U.S. Army. After completing his tour of duty, George attended the University of Houston, graduating with a law degree.

George is survived by his brothers, Bobby Childers (Kay) of Artesia Wells, John Crisp (June) of Conroe and Jim Crisp of Washington, D.C.; sisters, Dorris Westfall (David) of Pleasanton, Carol Quarles (Donnie) of Hempstead and Brenda Gonzales (Joe) of Catarina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

George will be remembered for his keen intellect, love of world travel and the respect and kindness with which he treated others.

Graveside services will be at the Artesia Wells Cemetery on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 10:45a.m.
