On May 18th, Gerald "Jerry" D.  Farrell Jr. of Cotulla, Texas was called home to heaven. He is survived by his father, Gerald D. Farrell Sr, and step mother, Penny Farrell, his brother Tony Farrell and; sisters, Tina Murphy and Tracy Hill, stepbrother Emery Wilson, children Kristina Farrell Dingas and Gerald "Trey" D. Farrell III and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jerry lived a full life, playing sports in high school, getting into trouble in the Air Force, having and loving his family and kids, building sets with his brother, and ultimately living a semi-quiet life in Cotulla with his girlfriend Linda, her son, and their array of dogs and cats. In his last years, he enjoyed spending time with his father and brothers and spending time outdoors hunting.

For those who knew Jerry, knew his rambunctious heart and vivacious personality. He had a story for every occasion and was happy to share any detail. He lived life to the fullest and never was one to pass up an opportunity to create a good memory or story to tell. And though he got into a bit of trouble now and again, he was the type of person you wanted in your corner, because he'd always have your back.

He will be extremely missed by everyone who had the chance to know him. And though our hearts are heavy, we must remember that grief only exists where love lived first. And we were very lucky to love and be loved by a man like Jerry.
