1950 - 2012

Janet Clare Kerr Wimberly born December 16, 1950 to Theodore Arthur Kerr, Jr. and Norma Reese Kerr passed away November 30, 2012 from complications from a bleeding stroke she suffered on October 24th.   She is survived by her husband, Warren (Rocky) Wimberly, daughter, K'Reesa (Jimmy) Coley, son, Jeremy (Kristi) Hillje, stepdaughter, Talore Wimberly, grandchildren - Carlisle Coley, Hannah and Hudson Hillje and Mason Hamilton, brothers, Ted (Kathy) Kerr, Neal Kerr, nephews, Reese, Marcus and Scott Kerr and niece, Angie Kerr.   Janet spent her life as a provider of many things, including being one of the original women hunting guides.   She touched the lives of many!  One of her beloved jobs was working on the playground at Amanda Burks Elementary.   Janet will be remembered for her intense love of the outdoors and animals.  Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home from 6pm to 8 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2012 and funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Cotulla, Texas on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2pm.   Burial services will be held at Cotulla West Cemetery, immediately following the services.
