Jesus V. Ayala, 80, of Cotulla, TX., passed away on April 22,2024 following a short battle with cancer.
Visitation will be Friday April 26,2024 from 4-9 pm at Peters Funeral Home Cotulla, TX. With Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 27,2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Cotulla. Burial will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peters Funeral Home.
Jesus was a man with a deep love for animals and landscaping and had a natural talent for making people smile. In his youth, he spent his time riding horses and fishing with his friends as well as taking care of gardens, finding joy and comfort in the natural world around him. His humor and kindness were a gift to those around him, and he touched many lives with his gentle spirit.
Jesus is preceded in death by his mother Florencia Valle-Ayala, Father Luis Ayala, Brothers- Amador, Jose and Gustavo Ayala, Daughter Eva A. Patino and baby sister Eva Ayala. Jesus is survived by his wife of 41 years Amelia Ayala, Sons Jesus Ayala Jr. (Christina), Danny Ayala (Sandra), Jesse Lee Ayala (Sabrina), Sam Ramirez (Keisha), Homero "Gus" Ramirez (Dominique) Grandchildren Esmeralda Hellstrom (Phillip), Leo Patino Jr (Rosie), Austin Patino, Vanessa Nieves (Jesus), Jesus Ayala Jr., Kevin Ayala, Leslie Ayala, Noah Ayala, Alexa Ayala, Savannah Ramirez, Raeven Ramirez, and Jaxx Ramirez. Great Grandchildren Jairo Benitez Jr., Clarissa Benitez. Isabella Benitez and Evita Patino. Brothers Luis Allala (Yolanda), Martin Ayala (Deanna), Isaac De Los Santos (Belen), Alfredo Gonzalez (Elsa). As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
