Jesus V. Martinez of Dilley passed away on April 2, 2014 at the age of 66. He was born in Cotulla on December 24, 1947 to Felipe and Maria Vega Martinez.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Mariola Martinez; daughters, Adela M. Jimenez, Diana M. (David) Sanchez, Veronica (Jeffery Handy) Cantu, and Claudia Cantu; sons, Adam G. Martinez, Joseph (Nelly) Cantu, and Moses (Elia) Cantu; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Domingo Martinez; and sister, Amada Gonzalez. He was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations for Jesus Martinez will be on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00 - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at the Millet Cemetery.
