Jesus C. Sanchez of Cotulla passed away on July 19, 2013 at the age of 48. He was born on April 19, 1965 to Jose Maria and Regina Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Josephina Lopez of Flint, MI, Lidia Espinoza of Grand Blanc, MI  and Ricardo Sanchez of Cotulla, TX.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Marivel Sanchez of Cotulla, TX; daughter, Whitney Marie Ayala Sanchez of Cotulla, TX; siblings, Demencio (Alicia) Sanchez of Asherton, TX, Julia (Jesus) Garza of Cotulla, TX, Jose Maria (Bertha) Sanchez Jr. of East Grand Forks, MN, Teresa (Homero) Avila of Uvalde, TX, Guadalupe Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, Simon (Joee) Sanchez of Cotulla, TX, sister-in-law Maria Sanchez of Cotulla, TX, Anna (Jim) Blanchette of Bemidji, MN, Melissa (Don) Kelley of Lewisburg, TN and Rogelio (Analissa) Sanchez of Cotulla, TX.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Jose Maria Sanchez Jr., Donny Sanchez, Simon Sanchez Jr., Lee Rocha, Carlos Ayala Sr., Juan Pablo Ayala, Francisco Ayala Sr. and  Abel Garza Jr.

Visitation was held at Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday July 23, 2013 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Services were held at the Nueces Worship Center on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at 10:00am.
