Jesusa Guerra passed away on May 26, 2015, at the age of 104. She was born on December 10, 1910 to Anita and Ignacio Gaona.
Ms. Guerra is preceded in death by her children, Esperanza Escamilla and Benito Guerra.
Ms. Guerra is survived by her children, Gloria (Cresencio†) Lopez of Encinal, TX., Edmundo (Virginia†) Guerra of Vernon, TX., Elsa (Alfredo) Calvillo of Vernon, TX., George (Ernestina) Guerra of Lawton, OK., Ofelia (Gilberto†) Farias of Laredo, TX., Cecilio (Esperanza) Guerra of Vernon, TX. and Ignacio (Manuela) Guerra of Vernon, TX. She is also survived by 59 grandchildren, 143 great-grandchildren, 163 great-great grandchildren and 9 great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at Peters Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Encinal Cemetery.
