Jose Angel Ramirez, better known to his loved ones as Joey passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 57. He was born on April 6, 1966, to Angel S. and Flora Elva Ramirez.

Joey is preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Elena and Angel Ramirez; maternal grandparents, Mariano and Felicidad Benavidez; aunt, Norma Valenzuela and his uncle, Abel Ramirez.

Joey is survived by his sister, Eliza (Eloy) Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas; nieces, Abigail Rodriguez and Annalisa Rodriguez, both of San Antonio, Texas; great niece, Trinity Soto of San Antonio, Texas and great nephew, Lawson Cortez of San Antonio, Texas; aunts and uncles, Alma May of Laredo, Texas, Armando Ramirez of Laredo, Texas, Alberto (Raquel) Ramirez of Barstow, California and Gloria Garcia of Encinal, Texas. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Millett Cemetery.
