Josephine Martinez passed away on February 26, 2019 at the age of 56. She was born on December 18, 1962 to Filiberto and Guadalupe Martinez.

Ms. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Almendarez; father, Filiberto Martinez and step father, Ernesto Consuegra Sr.

Ms. Martinez is survived by her children, Yanira Nunez (Robert Rivera), Annette (David) Martinez, Gloria Ray Nunez, Priscilla Almendarez (Ben Zertuche) and Javier Almendarez (Gabriela Vasquez); 15 grandchildren; mother, Guadalupe Martinez; siblings, Joe Martinez, Melba Sifuentes, Domingo Martinez, Mria Martinez, Josepha Lara, Ernesto Consuegra and her significant other, Domingo Galindo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m.Funeral Services will be held at the Primera Iglesia Bautista on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
