Juana Moreno Cardenas of Cotulla passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the age of 79. She was born in Piedras Negras Coahulia on January 1, 1938 to Satornino and Dominga M. Cardenas.

Juana loved her corridos and enjoyed to listen to Christian programs. Her greatest love was for God and she lived for her children.

Ms. Cardenas is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Fidencia Cardenas Garcia and Guadalupe Cardenas Irruegas; 1 daughter, 1 son, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Ms. Cardenas is survived by her children, Juan M. (Guadalupe) Cardenas, Cipriana Cardenas (Miguel) Gomez, Tito (Martha) Cardenas, Jose M. Cardenas, Juan A. Cardenas, Diana Estrella Cardenas, Roberto JR. (Ariel) Laguna; brothers, Candelario Cardenas and Pablo Cardenas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
