Mr. Ruiz is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Elvia Ruiz; children, Julian Ruiz Jr., Elizabeth Ruiz (Cesar Castor), Lucia Gonzalez (Joe Martinez), Frankie (Christine) Gonzalez, David (Elvira) Gonzalez and Jesse (Claire) Gonzalez; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Ricardo (Antonia) Ruiz, Rosa Avalos, Cuca (Elijio) Aguinaga, San Juana (Joe) Alvear and Arturo (Yolanda) Avalos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
