Lela June Gebert passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 92. She was born on August 19, 1928 to Leo Jerome and Ruby Lee Franklin.

Mrs. Gebert is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Calvin Gebert and her siblings, Louise Dalton, Marilee Hardcastle, Mattie Belle Saunders and L.J. Franklin.

Mrs. Gebert is survived by her children, Linda L. (Harold) Kuenstler, Darlene (David) Neeley, Kenneth Calvin (Trina) Gebert Jr. and William Kermit "Kerry" Gebert (Fiancé, Deedee Plank); 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and sisters, Doris Boeker, Frankie (Ronnie) Petty and Bonnie (James Frank) Hinkel.

Pallbearers, Bud Kuenstler, Brent Neeley, Tim Neeley, Clinton Van Arnem, R.J. Maltez, Kolton Gebert, Korey Gebert and Kody Gebert. Honorary Pallbearers, Morris Walker, Mark Brown, Mark Martin, Ralph Boeker Jr., Jimmy Van Cleve, Alan Brown, Gerardo Cadena, and Rusty Foster.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at The First Baptist Church of Cotulla from 4:00p.m. to 5:30p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Cotulla at 5:30p.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Cemetery.

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic and for the safety of all, the family requests that all those attending the funeral services to please wear a mask.
