Leslie Rose "Bud" True Vesper of Cotulla passed away on October 24, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1938 in Dallas to Leslie and Rose True. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Vesper, their son, Monty and her parents.
Leslie is survived by her daughter, Kelly of Cotulla; sister, Sally of Wimberley; brothers, Ted W. True of Athens, Texas and Curtis Hill True of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by one niece, Sue Anne True Mathis and two nephews, Walter True and Les True.
Leslie attended Oklahoma University and Southern Methodist University. She married Dick Vesper of Cotulla on September 26, 1959. To this union were born one son, Monty and one daughter, Kelly. She was a talented artist and an avid while tail deer hunter who enjoyed every facet of God's creation, especially all wildlife in South Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Vesper Ranch on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 3:00p.m. The community is invited.
