Lilia Escamilla, a resident of Lubbock, TX, passed away on January 12, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born and raised in Encinal, TX by her parents, Dionicio and Julia Leven.

Ms. Escamilla is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gregorio Escamilla.

Ms. Escamilla is survived by her children, Gregorio (Petra) Escamilla, Jr. of Brownsville, TX, Roberto (Manuela) Escamilla of Sabastian, TX, Guadalupe (Juan) Robledo of Lubbock, TX, Eddie Escamilla of Brownsville, TX, Elsa (Salvador) Delgado of San Antonio, TX, Rose Mary Escamilla of Lubbock, TX, Mary Ellen (Luciano) Perez of Lubbock, TX, Tony (Sarah) Escamilla of Lubbock, TX, Pat (Joanne) Escamilla of Lockhart, TX, and Lloyd (Karla) Escamilla of Madisonville, LA. Lilia is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations were held at Peters Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 4:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Encinal, TX at 10:00am.

Interment followed at the Encinal City Cemetery.
