Lloyd Douglas Stephenson, age 80, of Cotulla, Texas entered Heaven's embrace on October 30, 2021. Lloyd was a loving father, husband, uncle, grandfather, teacher, and friend.

Lloyd was born on October 22, 1941, at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, son to L.D. Stephenson and Edna Earle Wiest Stephenson. He was the oldest of two sons.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. L.D. Stephenson; his brother, Allen Stephenson; nephews, Troy, Paul, and Kevin Stephenson.

Lloyd is survived by his two children, son, Kenneth Wayne Stephenson, wife Penelope; daughter, Laura Ellyce Harrison, husband, Tracy D. Harrison; grandchildren, William and Damien Harrison and Aiden and Dillon Stephenson.

Pallbearers for the service will be Christopher Harrison, William Harrison, Damien Harrison, Matthew Santos, Aiden Stephenson, and William Scott Ashburn. Honorary Pallbearer, Dillon Stephenson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Peters Funeral Home from 9:30a.m. to 10:45a.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 11:00a.m. at The First United Methodist Church of Cotulla.
