Lucia Garza of Pearsall passed away on February 25, 2015, at the age of 79. She was born on December 13, 1935 in Encinal, TX. to Eugenio and Elvira Garza.
Ms. Garza is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jesus Garza.
Ms. Garza is survived by her son, Dr. Oscar Garza and his wife Maria; grandchildren, Oscar Jose Garza, Veronica M. Garza and Laura E. Garza; siblings, Lilia Maldonado and Eristeo Garza. Ms. Garza is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil for the deceased to be held at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Encianl, TX. with interment following at the Encinal City Cemetery.
