Luis Salazar Jr. passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born on January 23, 1963, to Isabel and Luis Salazar Sr.

Mr. Salazar is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Maria Ofilia Ramirez.

Mr. Salazar is survived by his wife, Marina M. Salazar; children, Iliana Salazar, Anthony Salazar, Justin Mendoza and Mario Ruiz; grandchildren, Isabella Rae Torres, Maya Renee Mendoza, Zoey Ruiz, Hailey Rose Torres, Daron Salazar, Jared Salazar and Joseph Salazar; great grandchildren, Zaydrick Teneyuca, Zavian Teneyuca and his sister, Rosaura Salazar. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla Southwest Cemetery
