Marcelo V. Gonzalez of Cotulla passed away on February 19, 2013 at the age of 78. He was born on January 30, 1935 to Atilano and Juanita Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents, Atilano and Juanita Gonzalez; wife, Maria Oida Gonzalez; son, Atilano C. Gonzalez; brothers, Proceso Gonzalez and Antonio Gonzalez; and sister, Julia Del Toro.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his daughters, Diana Fe White and husband Ernest, and Rita Gonzalez; sons, Marcelo Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Jessica, Enrique Gonzalez and wife Grace, and Jesus C. Gonzalez; 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00-9:00 pm. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Peters Funeral Home at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
