Marcos Otero Jr., 81, passed away in Pearsall, Texas with his loving wife of 61 years by his side.

Marcos was born in Cotulla, Texas. to Marcos Otero Sr. and Francisca Vara Otero.

Marcos is preceded in death by his parents; beloved little sister, Aurelia, baby brother, Abel and brothers, Oscar Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Antonio of Fisher, Minnesota., and Rafael of San Antonio, Texas.

Marcos is survived by his wife, Beverly of Pearsall, Texas; sisters, Oralia Rodriguez of Pearsall, Texas, Rosa Garza of Cotulla, Texas; brother, Ramiro (Veronica) Otero of Pearsall, Texas and brother-in-law, Ken (Kathy) Knutson of North Dakota. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
