Margarita Ruiz of Cotulla passed away on November 29, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born in Eagle Pass on November 29, 1944 to Alfonso and Victoria De Leon.

Mrs. Ruiz is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her loving husband, Cristobal Ruiz Jr.; children, Juan (Anna) Ruiz, Oscar (Duvelza) Ruiz, David (Maria) Ruiz, Grace (Enrique) Gonzalez and Ricardo (Nicolette) Ruiz; siblings, Dolores (Victor†) Mata, Yolanda (Andres) Perez, Roberto (Rosavelia) De Leon, Alfonso (Amalia†) De Leon Jr., and Francisco (Elena†) Gonzales; grandchildren, Angela Ruiz, Juan Ruiz Jr., Christopher Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz, Steven Ruiz, Nicolas Ruiz, Valerie Gonzalez, Amber Ruiz, Carolina Ruiz, Ricardo Ruiz, Cataleya Ruiz, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held  at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:00 am.
