Maria I. Rodriguez of Cotulla passed away on December 28, 2014 at the age of 78. She was born on April 15, 1936 to Jesus and Maria Ayala.
Ms. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her husband, Chavel Rodriguez; sons, Eduardo Rodriguez and Isaias Rodriguez and brother, Felix Ayala.
Ms. Rodriguez is survived by her children, Mary Aguirre (Raymond Torres), Marisela Allala, Sandra Alvarado and Rogelio (Sarah) Rodriguez; sisters, Jesusita Tellez, Lydia Garcia-Mendez, Guadalupe Perales and Prudencia Maldonado. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Cotulla East Cemetery at 11:00 am.
