Maria F. Salazar age 95 passed away quietly at her home in Cotulla at 12:30a.m. on March 3, 2021. She was born in Cotulla, Texas on October 27, 1925 to Carlos Flores and Dominga Perez.

Ms. Salazar is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Cecilio Salazar who passed away in 2011.

Ms. Salazar is survived by her two sons, John (Marilyn) Salazar of Defiance, Ohio and George (Judy) Salazar of Tennessee; grandchildren, Angela Delong of New Jersey, Mike Salazar of Ohio and John Salazar Jr. of Ohio; great grandchildren, Gabe Delong of New Jersey, Trinity Salazar, Sidney Salazar and Dallas Salazar of Ohio and several more.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home from 8:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home at 11:00a.m. Interment followed at the Antigua Cemetery.
