Martin Flores De La Cruz, age 83, of Cotulla, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born March 5, 1939 in Villa Hidalgo, Coahuila to Apolonio Flores and Ofilia De La Cruz Flores.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Graciela "Chela" Flores; his parents and his siblings, Melida Flores Martinez (Francisco), Virginia Flores Avila (Jesus) and Alvaro Flores (Esmeralda).

He is survived by his daughters, Deyanira Flores of San Antonio, Sandra Friesenhahn of Cotulla, Gracie Flores Martinez (Richard) of San Antonio; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Friesenhahn of San Antonio; grandson, Johnny Friesenhahn of Cotulla and 2 great-grandchildren, Maximillian Antonio and Madilyn Leigh of San Antonio; siblings, Guadalupe Flores Avila (Jose), Martha Irma Flores Castillo (Amador), Cleotilde Flores Martinez, Jesus Maria Flores (Consuelo) and Apolonio Flores (Maria).

Visitation was held on Friday June 3, 2022, at Peter's Funeral Home in Cotulla, Texas from 5 to 9 pm, with Rosary at 7 pm.  Funeral Mass was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla, Texas at 11 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  Interment followed at the Cotulla East Cemetery.  Pallbearers included nephews Francisco Martinez, Joe Avila, Jesus "Chickies" Avila, Amador Castillo, Arturo Castillo, and Jorge Martinez.  A reception followed at the Methodist Church Hall.
