Jean was born on July 9, 1934, in Uvalde, Texas and died December 13, 2024 in Cotulla, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace "Wally" Harrison. Jean was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church at a young age. Jean taught school in Asherton, Texas and in 1974 they came to Cotulla and opened a business, Harrison Enterprises Goldmine Jewelers and La Salle Motel.
Jean took over Bible Faith Center after Wally's death, later Terry Earl Harrison became Pastor of the church.
Wally and Jean were married on March 25, 1954. Jean was very committed, they dated 3½ years and were married 48 years, 9 months and 5 days.
Jean had many joys, she loved the Lord, she loved taking people out to eat and always loved doing things for people. She enjoyed sharing meals with family and looked forward to sharing meals at the Lords Banquet Table.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Peters Funeral Home from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Peters Funeral Home at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the First Church of Cotulla.
