Obituary

Mickey Darrell Snowden, born February 4, 1942 entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
Mickey is the youngest son to Joe G. (Tony) and Mabel Snowden, who both preceded him. Mickey was a brother to Martin Snowden, grandfather to Chadwick Ray Bookout and stepfather to Audrie Ivy and Ted Ray Ivy Jr. all of whom preceded Mickey in eternal peace.
Mickey is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Anne Snowden of Artesia Wells; daughter, Felecia Jo Bookout of Encinal; son, Tony Snowden of Cotulla; grandson, Michael Andrew Bookout of Cotulla and great grandson, Michael Andrew Bookout II of Cotulla.
Mickey was also a wonderful father and grandfather to Raelee "Bubba" Ivy of, Rachel Garza and family of Houston, Penny Froats and family of Wyoming, Laura Ivy and family of Wyoming, Kristi Kneeper and family of Wyoming and Rebecca Ivy and family of Caldwell. There are also numerous great grandchildren that loved him enormously. He was also a wonderful and dearly loved father in law to Sandra Ivy of Caldwell and Rocky Sosa of Encinal. He is also survived by Patricia Kardell of Pleasanton, Mary Delila Snowden of Las Vegas, Laura and David Sinclair of Stonewall, Jennifer, Justin and Lee Sinclair and family of San Antonio, Myra Sines Austin, Taylor Sines Austin, and Peggy Rice and family; sister in law, Gaye Snowden of Cotulla, Rod and Christy Snowden of Adkins, Jeff and June Snowden and family, Clint and Dana Snowden and family and Tye and Amanda Snowden of Cotulla. Mickey had numerous extended family members that will all miss him greatly as well as numerous friends, J.G. and Susan Duncan of McCoy and J. Earl Duncan and family.
He was a rancher at heart but did love the oil industry and its workings as well. Mickey was generous, loving, and intelligent and loved his family with a fierceness that was remarkable. He will be missed by us all and will live on forever in everything we as his family choose to do until we are all joined again.
We love you Mickey, Daddy, PawPaw… you will never be forgotten. You are now in eternal peace and with many you have followed but have left many who will love you forward. Until we see you again…
