Mirta R. Nunez passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born on March 2, 1957 to Filiberto and Emma Ruiz.

Ms. Nunez is preceded in death by her father, Filiberto Ruiz; husband, Ramon Nunez and common law spouse, Senon Cruz.

Ms. Nunez is survived by her children, Joey (Julie) Ruiz and Jason (Simona) Nunez; mother, Emma Ruiz; grandchildren, Deandra Ruiz, Drayden Ruiz, Jason Nunez Jr., Jalynn Nunez, Anthony Ramirez and Jasmine Ramirez; siblings, Elvira De La Rosa, Elsa Ruiz and Beto Ruiz Jr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Peters Funeral Home from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
