Morris R Cantu passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on February 10, 1952, to Josefina Rosales and Oliver Cantu Sr.

Mr. Cantu is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Maria Lou “Vicky” Cantu, Diana Cantu, Judy Cantu Campos and Oliver Cantu Jr.; great uncle, Vicente Gamez and the mother of his daughter, Julia Cantu.

Mr. Cantu is survived by his daughters, Mona Lisa Cantu-Zamora (Juan Zamora), Jessica Cantu Arredondo (Carlos Arredondo); stepdaughter, Patricia Zuniga (Omar Zuniga); mother of his daughter, Elisa Rodriguez and his siblings, Eddie R. Cantu and Zelda “Penny” Williams. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Peters Funeral Home from 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Sacred heart Catholic Church at 11:00a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
