Norberto Gonzalez of Cotulla passed away on July 4, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born in Guerra, TX on April 1, 1939 to Guadalupe and Adela Leal Gonzalez..

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Leonel Gonzalez and Gustavo Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his spouse Alicia R, Gonzalez, daughters; Juanita Franklin (Humberto Carreon) and Anabel (Carlos) Romero, son Norberto Gonzalez Jr.( Louisa), sisters; Josefina Lumbreras and Gloria (Raul) Muriel  and brothers; Rogelio Gonzalez (Melva) and Leopoldo (Alicia) Gonzalez.  He was also survived by his grandchildren Liza Lopez, Mercy Lopez, Jaime Lopez, David Alaniz, Erica Alaniz, Bea Romero, Norberto Gonzalez III and Noelee Gonzalez and 13 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives..

Visitations for Mr. Gonzalez will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Peters Funeral Home from 2:00 - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cotulla at 9:30 am. Interment followed at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
