Octabio Gonzalez passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on July 17, 1939, to Pedro and Leonor Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Amada Becerra, Pedro Gonzalez, Francisca Galvan, Antonio Gonzalez, Victoria Rubio and Jesus Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Juanita Gonzalez; children, Jacqueline (David) Sanchez, Margie Gonzalez, Englentina Gonzalez, Octavio Gonzalez Jr., Ramona Marrs, Leonor Jacobs, Suzana Gonzalez and his sister, Dominga Cardona. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
